Half-way through Sam’s birthday… and I am holding up

September 16, 2012 by melragent 1 Comment

Sam’s 2nd birthday is half-way over, and so far, I have managed to avoid tears.  It helps that Sam has just been so damn cute this morning.

The day got off to a great start when i went to get Sam dressed for his big day, pulled out his superman shirt, and he looked at me and smiled and said “Super Sam”.  Super Sam indeed!

Once dressed, we spent the morning eating waffles, playing games and opening gifts.  Here is a gallery of shots from the morning:

  • Sam the Anti-Preemie: Tangled up in mommy
  • Sam the Anti-Preemie: Happy Birthday Boy!
  • Sam the Anti-Preemie: Sam and his Mommy

Once the gifts were open, we made the mistake of leaving Sam alone with his big sister for a few minutes.  Not long after, we could hear Sam happily repeating the new phrase his sissy taught him:
