Quick Surgery update

October 14, 2010 by melragent 8 Comments

The surgery went really well. It was not the largest PDA the surgeon had seen, but it was big. The surgeon feels that by closingnit, Sam should start to feel better soon.

I’ll write more later.

You don’t know me, but I know Melissa’s parents through their neighbors. I’ve been following along on Sam and Irene’s story, and am so very glad to hear that Sam’s surgery went well. You are all in my thoughts.

We are so happy to hear the surgery went well. We keep up to date with your amazing posts (and your parents). Our friends’ preemies (twins born at 1 lb. 11 oz and 2 lb. 2 oz) will have their Bat Mitzvah on October 30 – needless to say, after a rocky start in the NICU, they are thriving. So there you go, a small start but bigger and better things just on the horizon. Linda & Steve

I’ve been thinking about Sam all day and finally able to visit with the clan while enjoying our Bo’s BBQ take out. Roman specifically asked to see baby Samuel post hitting himself in the eye (with his trike safety flag) just before sitting down. How could we deny such a request? So-so glad to learn everything went well and that Sam should start to feel better soon. We all are.

Oh yes! I am soooo delighted that little Sam’s surgery went well. He has been in my thoughts daily, but especially during his surgery. I will continue to hold the positive thoughts. All my love to each of you, Wendy B.
