Quick Surgery update October 14, 2010 by melragent 8 Comments The surgery went really well. It was not the largest PDA the surgeon had seen, but it was big. The surgeon feels that by closingnit, Sam should start to feel better soon. I’ll write more later. So glad to hear it! Have been thinking about you guys all day. Here’s hoping it is just what he needed. Hugs to all of you!
Thank God! Now we send good thoughts and prayers for Sam to heal quickly…
You don’t know me, but I know Melissa’s parents through their neighbors. I’ve been following along on Sam and Irene’s story, and am so very glad to hear that Sam’s surgery went well. You are all in my thoughts.

We are so happy to hear the surgery went well. We keep up to date with your amazing posts (and your parents). Our friends’ preemies (twins born at 1 lb. 11 oz and 2 lb. 2 oz) will have their Bat Mitzvah on October 30 – needless to say, after a rocky start in the NICU, they are thriving. So there you go, a small start but bigger and better things just on the horizon. Linda & Steve

Great news, thanks for the update. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts for everyone’s recovery!
I’ve been thinking about Sam all day and finally able to visit with the clan while enjoying our Bo’s BBQ take out. Roman specifically asked to see baby Samuel post hitting himself in the eye (with his trike safety flag) just before sitting down. How could we deny such a request? So-so glad to learn everything went well and that Sam should start to feel better soon. We all are.

Oh yes! I am soooo delighted that little Sam’s surgery went well. He has been in my thoughts daily, but especially during his surgery. I will continue to hold the positive thoughts. All my love to each of you, Wendy B.

I just shared your blog with Satoko. We both send tons of love
and positive mom vibes. You are so brave – and Sam is such
an amazing fighter. Hang in – things are getting better!!
